Colwyn Forties Festival of Food and Fun
Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th April 2021
After another successful year, Colwyn Bay's Forties Festival returns for its fifth year in April 2021!
We'll see firm favourites return for the weekend celebration - joined by some new faces! As always, the festival will include live 40's style music, displays and entertainment. Guests are still to be confirmed for 2021, but in the past have included singers 'George Formby' and Lilli De Carlo, Llandudno Swing Band, 'Winston Churchill' and 'General Montgomery'. Popular attractions include a replica military plane, vehicles, weapons display, demonstrations, local food producers and more!
Again, the highlight of the weekend is the Ballroom Blitz Dance, a 1940's style dance held on Saturday evening at Parc Eirias, with live music of the era. Come and join us - dress up 40's style and enjoy the fun!
The weekend finale will be the fabulous Battle!
This energetic display is a must see - more details to follow.
Dance ticket prices, and full weekend itinerary will be confirmed soon,
but you can register your interest now by email.
Traders: If you have a vintage-styled stall and would like to be
part of the Colwyn Bay Forties Festival,

Festival Camping
Due to the increased number of battle re-enactors and exhibitors attending the event year on year, it is unlikely that we will be able to offer public camping facilities as in previous years. To those travelling to the town from out of area, we've put together details of some of the local camping sites closest to the event. This list isn't exhaustive though, so if you have a campsite that you'd like to advertise below, please get in touch with your details!

This whole event has been inspired by Colwyn Bay's prime strategic role during the Second World War as the headquarters for the Ministry of Food for the whole of the UK. The festival is the town?s way of celebrating this, whilst being a fantastic opportunity to showcase our diverse range of independent businesses.
